It was an exciting, colorful and joyous evening at Mariflo hotel as Kitovu Mobile Community interacted with the new Bishop of Masaka Diocese. Rt Rev. Sereverus Jjumba, was consecrated in July this year as the new Bishop of Masaka Diocese.
But all along,Kitovu Mobile had not got the opportunity to congratulate and interact with the new ordinary, who was once the chairman,Kitovu Mobile board of directors.
The team had the pleasure to interact with the Bishop, who had been pleased by the organisational performance during the 2019 AGM,held earlier in the day.
One by one,the members from the various projects had hand shake with the bishop, each getting prayers and blessings from the new ordinary.
Later, the man of God,who was visibly excited. addressed the community. He first hailed it for its great performance as as revealed in the Annual General Meeting that had happened earlier.
“You are a special team and I want you to feel that uniqueness of being part of Masaka Diocese which makes you different from other humanitarian Non Government Organisation workers;because as you reach out to these marginalized communities, you are not mere workers but representatives of Christ” Bishop Jjumba explained.
He added: “And that is the unique element: being ambassador’s of Chris. Therefore,Make Chris at the center of your service because you’re His ambassadors”
He said he was also glad to hear that the devoted team begins its daily work prayers.

The CEO, could not stay in his sit,but to join the Runyege Dance.
