Kitovu Mobile Palliative Care services Insulating Lukyamuzi against intense cancer, age-related-pains

Lukyamuzi Paul is 85 years old. He  has advanced cancer of prostate. This medical condition used to bring  pain to a man who is already braving age-related-pains. A resident of Jongooza,Kalisizi sub county,Kyotera District,Paul suffered  from this double trauma for close to a year.

But since he was referred for Palliative Care at  Kitovu Mobile,three months ago,Paul,who was referred by Masaka Regional Refferal Hospital, appreciatively notes: ” I have a sigh of relief from pain”

He adds :” Then,I could not get out of my bedroom. I could stay inside,sink in pain; and wished nothing apart from death. But now I can move out, walk around my compound, which is all attributed to the drugs emotional support I get from Kitovu Mobile”

His son, who is apparently taking care of him, is quick to attest to what his father shares, saying: “You (referring to Kitovu  Mobile Palliative Care team that had paid a home visit) have really done us good”
