The Late Robinah Ssentongo

Staff, management and board of Kitovu Mobile have today,19.12. 2020, learnt with deep sorrow of the death of our former Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Robinah Ssentongo. A nurse and a committed social worker, Hon Ssentongo was instrumental in the initial founding of Kitovu Mobile AIDS Care Program. She headed the organisation from 2000 to 2015. She took on leadership of Kitovu Mobile from the Irish Medical Missionaries of Mary.

During this time of dedicated community service, Hon Ssentongo led large teams of medical, social workers and community counselors to care for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDs.

Under her leadership, Kitovu Mobile also rolled out other programs offering support to AIDS orphans and vulnerable children and their care givers in the nine Districts under Masaka Catholic Dioceses

The Kitovu Mobile Community will forever be appreciative of the foresightedness of Hon. Robinah Ssentongo.
