Every year , Masaka Diocese holds a health assembly where all stake holders within the diocese and from the local governments from Masaka sub region meet and deliberate on ways of improving health care services in the nine districts that make up the diocese .
This year’s 10th health assembly was held on October 18 at Bwala Social Centre. Individual health institutions under the diocese gave their performance reports highlighting achievements, challenges and solutions.
Kitovu Hospital Director , Dr Alfred Lumala was the first on the podium and gave the experience of Kitovu Hospital. He was followed by the Villa Maria Hospital Medical Superintendent,Dr Edward Ssemwanga .
And finally,Mr Justus Rugambwa,the Chief Executive Officer Kitovu Mobile, came and gave a presentation about the services offered by the organisation.
He shared their package which ranges from palliative care, Dreams project, economic empowerment, Grandmothers and OVC project and many more.
