Kitovu Mobile Medical Center(KMMC), is soon getting accredited by  Ministry of Health (MoH). This  follows ART accreditation assessment visit by MOH and Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB) officials today, which saw officials treasure the facility’s laboratory, drug store and pharmacy.

Under ART services include HIV testing and counseling, viral load testing and monitoring, and TB screening.

For health facilities to offer such services ,they are supposed to be accredited by the Ministry of Health because the quality of HIV care is important to patients treated in all facilities.

KMMC has helped a number of facilities in the Masaka Region to get secure accreditation from MoH;among these are ,St Francis Mbirizi,St Charles Kabwoko, and Lwebitakuli health center II in Sembabule District.
